250 year old stone house in a stunning natural setting

In the center of Gran Canaria perfect place to visit the entire island. Located in the western mountains, with less cold temperatures than in the north and east of the island. An accommodation with more than 250 years rehabilitated and that has the comforts of the present.
It is found in a completely quiet and peaceful rural environment. Located in the "Nublo Rural Park", "Biosphere Reserve" and in July 2019 declared by UNESCO as "World Heritage".
The house is located in the municipality of Tejeda, declared as "one of the 30 most beautiful villages in Spain."
Traditional Canarian peasant house, rehabilitated, with more than 250 years old, stone with wooden soil maintaining the original structure and materials of its construction. Its furniture has been preserved and rehabilitated without discarding the enjoyment and comfort of the advances of today, incorporating appliances and other elements that make the stay comfortable.
In its two courtyards you can enjoy starry nights at the same time of wide space for the realization of barbecues, enjoy the sun or play the children.
The Pepita Rural House La de las Flores, the first rural house throughout the municipality of Tejeda is well known for the elders of the place since it was the first store in the area, after Juan, Pepita's husband, arrived from Cuba with Some money and could undertake this little business.
The pool is available from Easter to mid-October.

The country house with beautiful stone and wooden floors can accommodate up to eight people. The two bedrooms are furnished with either a queen size double or two single beds and wardrobes. There is an additional bed for two people. The open plan living/dining room plus kitchen is furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, a television, and a dining table and six chairs. The kitchen unit is furnished with a two burner stove, an oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a toaster, a kettle and a coffee maker. The house has heating and Wi-Fi access throughout. A washing machine and a dryer, as well as an ironing board and an iron are available, as well. The spacious rooms offer stunning views over the surrounding landscape.
The pool will only be available from the end of March until mid -October.

The two patios (55m² and 15m²) offer ample space for the entire family to relax, sun bathe and enjoy a barbecue. Enjoy the beautiful night skies. Parking is available.

The property is well known in the village as it used to be the village shop. During the renovation process, the original structure and materials were maintained as much as possible. The furniture was restored and modern amenities were added. Upon request, four hiking kits can be provided free of charge.

The town centre La Culata offers everything you need and is only one kilometre from the property. It is five kilometres to Teeda, where you can find an array of restaurants and shops. Due to the central location of the property, you can easily explore the island. The island is great for hiking, bicycling, mountain climbing and all outdoor activities.
