With four beaches and beautiful promenades with stores, restaurants and cafés, you'll never be bored here. The town's harbor is one of the largest on the white coast, so the restaurant menus are full of delicious seafood. Visit the fish market and the sea and salt museum. There is a fantastic nature reserve around Torrevieja and in the impressive Salinas de Torrevieja, the pink salt lake, you can swim and admire the pink flamingos. The wetland area, Las Lagunas de la Mata Natural Park, offers wonderful nature experiences and many beautiful hiking and cycling trails that take you through the La Mata wine region, among others. The quiet town of Punta Prima with its popular coastal promenade and small bays, including Cala Ferris, and the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Park are also worth a visit.
